Working for Qantas from overseas
 

I was wondering how difficult it is, assuming you had enough jet hours e.g. 4000 + to get employment with Qantas but not having any Australian residency qualifications. I am from the UK and some people I have spoken to mentioned something like you could get a job with them but initally being based out of London and only in the future transferring to Oz once you had built up time with the company - as ideally I would like to emigrate there sometime in the future.

Is this a feasible option and if so does this method work for other overseas airlines or are there other options available?
