QANTAS - Cadetship 2007 (2 x intakes this year?!?)
 

Hey Guys - Not sure if this is just a rumour, but heard that QF is going to be taking 2 intakes for the 2007 Cadetship (one in June 06 and one towards the end of 06) - Has anyone else heard the same?

I doubt it - according to the Qantas website applications won't open til June:

"Please note that if the 2007 Cadet program is approved, applications are scheduled to open on 1 June, 2006"

mate use your brain and read the website properly.:E

Applications will be accepted from June untill September 06 for the one 2007 intake. Just because it is open from the beggining of the year to the end of the year doesnt mean there is two cadetships !

p.s. werent you that kid that got into the cadetship that thought it was a waste of time going to fly for Airnorth after the cadetship was completed !:}

i heard it...but it is just a rumour (and there should always be an origin and reason for the starting of the rumour)...still we have to wait for QF's official announcement...

This doesnt sound right to me but it is not impossible. Are these "rumours" coming from inside QF? That is the only way you could consider them credible.:confused:

yea...zendj is not forcing you guys to believe...just providing a possible information...if you guys believe that's good...if not then express your opinion nicely...there's just no use to be harsh on him =)

of course we would have to wait for QF's official annoucement to validate the info...

I am intrigued by this post Zed, are you stating that this is the reason for the mid year intake or speculating about why QANTAS might need a mid year intake??????

Given that it takes 3 months to process applicants from the closing date of the application window, there won't be much time to select anyone for a June start...

cx587, I don't think theflyer1735 was being harsh -- Just pointing out that rumours can come from anywhere and are often started just for laughs, or are misinterpretations of half-truths.

ehh...Lancer...i was not referring to theflyer1735...perhaps you can interpret who is harsh and who is not who replied to this post =D...i doubt theflyer1735 is the first one...but nevertheless your point is correct that rumours can come from anywhere and sometimes they are false...so it is up to readers who believe it or not...i just feel that sometimes it is unfair and also ridiculous for people who just want to share some info and get busted by readers stating he/she is brainless...
