ANZ Mt Erebus report on line
Is the report (or any of its subsequent investigations) available on line in digital form? Been having a rummage, but no joy yet.

Hi Stallie!
Your next tour not taking you near there, is it? |
Prospector,
Thanks! Will chase it up now. Hi Tinny, No plans at this stage, but entirely possible! There's enough other high terrain there to worry about besides that volcano to make it a relevant safety read! CS |

Whoaaaaaa. That's the fastest loading site I've seen in a while almost instantaneous.:ok:
The accident ws 1979 and there doesn't seem to be an electronic report on it other than a reference??? |
Gaunty,
Yep there is an electronic report, TAIC state at the start it is an exact electronic copy of the report by the Office of Air Accident enquirees. It is 29 pages long, 2088kbs. It is a long while since I got my copy. From memory it has to be requested from TAIC, no doubt in this user pays and pays and pays age, there will be a small charge to cover expenses, his and hers and anybody else's that knows how to get on the bandwagon. Found my copy, if anyone wants it advise where to send. Prospector |
