New LAME at VB

Rumour just started around Sydney is that Mr Potato Head will be starting on the floor at Virgin Engineering in Sydney. Any VB LAMEs know anything more?

Mr Potato Heads reputation & qualifications but not his name have been tossed about the ring so to speak by one of the local managers as a "feeler" to gauge reactions.
Don`t know if there is motive or intent to employ.
Currently one vacancy on a shift for an EIR LAME with B737-700/800 licence,didn`t think Mr PH held the licence having been office bound for so long!If he does hold the licence,how was currency justified to CASA during last renewal?

He made sure he was on every course that was being held overseas, not just for the jolly but because they were the ones where he didn't need to get any real experience.

I wonder if he will run for the ALAEA position that will soon be vacant???
