Cheap single
 

Ok guys,

Looking for a little help. Planning on hiring a cheap single (pref. a 4 seater, 2 might do).

Looking at doing 50 hours in it around the country, now what are the odds of finding one less than $100/hr wet, if I can guarantee the 50 hours? Anyone know where to start looking? Anyone got one on offer?

In Brisbane,$145 ph for a PA28 is the cheapest I know.

A Warrior at YSBK is about $140/150 hr wet (at YSBK fuel rates).

A C152 can be had for about $120/hr wet.

It'll probably be cheaper in total, to hire a faster (but more expensive) aircraft.

(Depending on location and annual usage, the cost of something like a Warrior is probably not far from $80/hr dry.
(this includes things like parking (ouch), insurance (yeeeoch), inspections, depreciation and repairs.))

Jabiru 2200 2 seat, 95 kts, about $90 wet.
