To Double Click Or Not To Double Click

Is it just me, or does anyone else get annoyed when people use the old double click on the PTT to acknowledge every bloddy thing

Hudson 26th Feb 2005 11:58

At least it comes over the air. When talking to the operator at Nauru, he acknowledges by twitching his eyebrows!!

Hempy 26th Feb 2005 17:25

I think it's quite expedient, especially in busy periods

Hudson 27th Feb 2005 00:15

What - twitching the eyebrows? I agree...

Duff Man 28th Feb 2005 02:32

Annoying is watching those who double click on hotlinks or menu items. Halves the mice lifespan!

Maybe so, but twitching the eyebrows does not seem to do anything in that situation!

God I love the little thing that p.ss people off, saw a show on TV the other day about which way the toilet paper roll should be placed, paper starts from the top of the roll or bottom. (I prefer up) now thats important! :\

And doesn't it also p..s you off to see flying instructors of both sexes poncing around the local shopping mall food court at lunch time dolled up in gleaming white shirts complete with 2 or 3 bars on their shoulders, big wings stuck on their chests and the obligatory aviator sunnies on the head? White shirts fine, but it would be better to stick the wings and gold stripes in their pockets.

Is there a problem with that Menen? I see plenty of people in uniforms, out buying their lunch.

Covered in depth in White Rat's "Cringeworthy" thread from last year.
