Can anyone point me in a good direction for internet resources for aircraft specs/numbers/Weighs/Vspeeds etc.
Particularily interested in DHC-6 and C402C types as may have a chance at a start, possibly/maybe/ish :ok:

definately wear clothes as this will impress the CP. If he knows how to put clothes on he may just be able to fly dat motaplane!

depending on climate, company and company set up. Best thing to do is where a good set of trousers and shirt. Good neutral way to start off the interview

If the weather and/or wallet suits wear a suit or jacket.

At least wear a tie, even in Darwin. the first impression is the one that counts.

Clean the shoes and finger nails.

You gotta adapt to the prospective employer. Personally I think wearing a suit to an outback gig is not a good look, you've gotta look like you're able to handle the country and not afraid to get your hands dirty.

I would probably wear trousers, shirt n tie; give the suit a miss unless its an airline.

Once I was a CP in the territory and if you had of walked in wearing a suit and a tie I would have thought you was a poof and not a pilot

Years later I am not a CP and I still believe that if you walked in with a suit and a tie you would still be a poof and not a pilot.

Nothin against poofs but I never met a poof pilot.......yet. :}

Long white shirt and tie in Darwin means WARNING ! malingering public servant , politician or lawyer.

Do not wear bow tie that means magistrate and yer prolly scare yer boss to death.

mctow for the dhc6 twotter is 5669kg but that can vary depending where in the world the job is. Some countries use higher more realistic numbers :-) V speeds, would be a dick nuts thing to be asked, thats what your ground course is for don't worry about it. You'll absolutely love it I guarantee. Specially if it's operating into anywhere seriously short :cool:
