Question for those in Australia

I have a few friends in the computer industry. One of them mentioned that Australia has relaxed immigration rules to encourage people with certain skills to move to Oz. Have any of you heard anything about that or know where to look for further info? I'm sure they don't need any more pilots down there but I am curious which profession they are looking for and if what I heard is true.

On an unrelated note a friend of mine had a long stay in Brisbane recently. From the pictures and his description of his stay there it sounds like a fantastic place.

Check the Department of immigration web site out. www.immi.gov.au you will find all the answers there, in a nutshell if you have a good trade or a degree, can speak english and are under a certain age you should be in with a good shout.
