I havent heard of the flying school you mentioned, however it is a good place to learn to fly. Where abouts are you atm?
You want your CPL?

I did my initial twin / Duchess training with Aminta Hennessy at Clamback & Hennessy. Also flew with Lisa Westcott there, and Ray Clamback.

Aminta is a hard taskmaster (task mistress?) and I could imagine how her personal manner might make some people uncomfortable. She is fairly blunt and will not spare the criticism. The flip side is that I always learnt something and the folks there (at the time - it's been a few years) are/were mostly all very experienced.

Have also flown with Whitworth & AFTS. The former has a good name but I didn't think too much of his aircraft, and AFTS was a bit too 'factory' for my liking - too many pimply types with fancy epaulettes.

Good luck.

Try Schofields Flying Club on tower rd. Friendly and experienced instructors. :)

BK Flying Schools

Can I suggest Basair? The training there is absolutely second to none! They're located at 685 Comper St, Bankstown Airport (just opposite Eddie's :=) Basair is one of the most busiest flight schools in Bankstown, especially on weekends & have a diverse range of aircraft to choose from!
If you need any more info, PM me.
Thanks

Mate i currently fly at Crane air @ YSBK.
I can tell you they are very good. Ive come from another flight school in Parafield(ADL) and joined Craneair in Jun03, and they are great. They Have Warrior at C152 rates too!!! Cheap!
They do type ratings from Metros to Citation jets!!!

Mate, check em out on Craneair.com.au
Any further info, just PM me!

TurbineDreamer. Please do a PPRuNe search on Bankstown flying training.

It's been done to death many times - too many times - over the past few years.
