Man of the Year

Wiz, you sound like some comical 1970's waterfront union tough guy who is gonna run the scabs off the wharf with all that angry blab. Are you going to hunt down Prop and set your killer hounds upon him because he dared to disagree with you? Get him black listed out of the skies? You seem to think you can behave like a meathead if you own a small business. Guess what! Thousands of other aussies own their own business' too and they generally act with a degree of civility. Just because you cross hire a few cessna's and a baron with flaking paint does not make you the 2004 Time Magazine's "CEO of the Year". There is no Nobel prize heading your way, Nelson Mandela is still safe. Plenty of operators run their charter companies on pure bluff and credit cards and act like they are astute business leaders when they are actually broke. They bully and mistreat their staff as this is the only power that they actually yield in this world. Then they go home and cop an earful from the wife. You do not represent yourself in a very professional manner for a big time company CEO. Wiz, maybe trade in the savage hounds for a poodle and let your achievements represent you rather than your angry, tough guy attitude. You will find that it's much more flattering.

cheers
GJ

Goodness me!. I never claimed to be a prize winning CEO of anything. fact is I do manage to hover around the broke line way more than I do the rich line. But I'm certainly working in the industry that propwhatever seems to think I'm a spectator in.
My 310s paint is newly applied, and not peeling, I might just mention. I paid alot of money for my big savage hound and will not be trading him in at all.
I was a wee tacker in the 70's and wouldnt have known what a union was.......or cared.
I choose to goose around on here for fun, information and to stay in contact with others in the industry...........not be professional. I save my profesional for the aircraft and customers.
I don't read time magazine.....it doesnt make much sense and I couldnt see the point.
As for being a tough guy...............well, hell, I am. ;)
and as for angry............. only really when wakkers like propswinger start mouthing off about crap they no nothing about.
I dont set my savage big dog on anybody, I prefer to take care of business myself, if it comes to that. :} ;)
PS. and while your on about being all profesional and stuff, how professional is a name like indiginous equestrian anyway. :D
you have yerself a bloody bonza day there cobber.
:ok:

Maybe you should all have a look at propswingers other posts. He loves to mouth off in an agressive manner, and I would say that The Wiz has described him accurately.

I thought this was quite a serious issue with a real personal note to it but its been reduced to utter crap with the bitching and whining...........thats a shame:yuk:

It has drifted of topic somewhat. I agree with you fellows, lets get back to what the thread is actually about.

Marv, that's a fantastic post mate, but probably wasted on those who will hold to their 'non-negotiable' position that people are not entitled to spend their own time in their own way.

Top work! :ok:

Regards,
