Overheard once, at the estimated time of passing between a Pom charter flight and one of the real "fantasy" painted B744:

"Oooh! Did you paint it yourself?"

No reply.

I like it. It's sorta modern retro.

And you can't mistake the fact that it is a Qantas aircraft

Call me naiive, but the rego is VH-OCJ, but on the tail, and the nose gear door why does it have "JD" ... shouldn't this indicate the rego is VH-OJD ?
