Conversion and Jobs

Hello all,

End of this year I am moving back to Australia from Canada and will be converting my CPL and Multi instrument rating.
I'll be heading to the Brisbane area so any recommendations or reviews on flight schools would be appreciated.

Should be around 1000 TT and was wondering what options that would open up for me. Hopefully wont have to go to the top end but you gotta do what you gotta do right. Seems like a lot of Aussie operators want multi time which is mostly where I am lacking as my hours are from flight instruction (mostly single engine day VFR).
I've already been in talks with a few flights schools and they've mentioned that I will need to do at least an IPC (makes sense) and with my time might not need to do the CPL ride. Is this realistic as it seems CASA is kind of hit and miss for some here?

Also before this post fills with it I am not interested in living in the good old USA and am moving back down under for a reason.
