T I E W,
As we age, it’s a function of time, which is elastic. At age 5 your next birthday was only 1 5th of yr life and seemed like a very long time away til the next. At 80 it’s so much smaller percentage thus ‘faster’
And of course, folk you know fall away for various reasons as, you, fortunately, hurtle on.
For us oldies, the years are going past like pickets on at fence at 50 knots.
Its a bummer. ‘Cos we all have a use by date.
Fly safe.!

Gee! you are young. Cid was the OIC back when the courses were single digits in the late 60's. Yes, they were the days and I can still type, but maybe not as fast!!

The picture is so DCA! They all look the same. The training school on the ML Airservices site has a whole corridor full of them!

Never was an FSO, but recognise Dave Guerin and Dave Burrage. The R. Rogers in back row might be Bob Rogers who I first met in Mt. Isa, but there is little resemblance to the face I knew.

"Guru" is working hard internationally with drone operators and saw Dave Burrage at DCA club get-together 1st June. If it is the Bob Rogers, I knew, have not seen him since he was a Traffic Manager in SY Approach.

I'm pretty sure it was Richard Rogers. From memory it's:
Mike Wojcik, Richard Rogers, Steve Wareham, Fabio Fabreschi, Peter Kellaway, Kev Maxwell, Steve Nott, Dave Guerin.
Brent Cash, Derek Cairns, Barry Meiklejohn, Brian Roberts, Dave Octigan, Dave Burrage, Andy Littlehales, Martin Jones, John Lovell, Merrill Bell, Leah Kohv, Anne Fekete
Pete Nelson, Alex Fry, Cid Hulse, Brian Scherr, Nev Thomas, Bill Ware.

I can remember definitely 4 did not make it through, think there were 2 others.

Traffic,
Further back than that, however, not as far as Griffo! He beats me by 4!
FSO Course 35, the all public service course because the Government had an embargo on recruiting!
13 starters with 11 across the line.
Cedric Beecham Hulse was the School OIC.
Them's were the days!
I finished in Melbourne by closing the northern airspace.

A former boss who was older than me once told me "Life is like a toilet roll, the closer you get to the end, the quicker it starts spinning".
