Not the first time this has been done at Hagen, probably won’t be the last.
The runway surface is a mess, particularly considering that it was only resurfaced just before the pandemic. See they have filled some of the potholes on the runway in with concrete.
A chunk of concrete down the guts of a CFM-56 at V1 would get the blood pressure wound up!
The aftermath would probably make international headlines for a while too.
