Nice to see The ABC do an article on Old Bar, I learned from it that it is heritage listed and has a bigger history than I imagined. Great to see a GA airstrip in a good news article.

I recall taking a Huey from Williamtown SAR Flight to Old Bar for a static display at an airshow, would have been 1979 or 1980. Lots of interesting biplanes there, and a home-built with a wing planform like a Spitfire did an amazingly slow flypast.
