Home Grange ALA
There is an airstrip about 6 kms to the east of the tiny Victorian Town of Brim called Home Grange ALA.
It comes up on AVPLAN with the Designation Y03X.
Does anybody out there know the owner or other person(s) to conrtact to land there?
Thanks,
Mick

Try calling 03 5390 4385. That’s the number of Makarbura Pty Ltd which shows up as the trustee of the Home Grange Settlement at 2876 Sheep Hills Bangerang Rd Brim, which in turn shows up on google maps as the address of the property with that ALA.
(Why wouldn’t you use YWKB??)

If you look at google earth (3rd Sep 2019) you will see the windsock to the south east of the farm, circled by the spraylines. Those spraylines continue north across the access track (east-west) suggesting probable ruts across that surface.
I was along the Bangerang-Sheep Hills road a couple of time this last weeks with harvest in full swing - doubt you would be welcome in a petrol driven machine surrounded by heavy stubble - if the strip still exists which I doubt.

I promised to help him sort out some aircraft bits he wants to sell,.
Trouble is its a 4.5 hour drive from my place whereas by air its barely an hour.
I was hoping to leave an old car at the strip and drive to the old blokes home.
not so sure about leaving an old car at Warracknabeal airport, but that may be the best remedy.
Thanks to all who replied.

Yep, he only has eleven acres now, not really enough for an airstrip, and there are a lot of old cars, and other "stuff" that might impinge on the entry/exit.
