RDZ (the original one) and BPX were sister ships with consecutive serial numbers off the production line if memory serves me correctly. I believe the original RDZ now resides in the graveyard at Charters Towers airport somewhere nearby Dennis Behan’s hangerage. Both were C402 ‘straight’ models. Air Mt Isa operated both for many years.

ELZ was another 402 (not A) that was ex RFDS that went for a slide down the runway at ADL in a shower of sparks 17 odd years ago

Bit of a story involved in that DF but it was precipitated by an electrical failure.

She's back! Pickles have VH-RDZ listed for auction, again...

Photos don't look too much different from when Kearns had her up for auction a couple years ago, so yet another failed project??
