Re a low time pilot flying a Conquest around in command, that’s certainly possible if the pilot has received good training. In this event, regardless of the pilot’s experience and what was allegedly broadcasted over the airwaves, the pilot done a pretty good job! Could have ended up in a smoking hole on the ground.
