Didn't realize it could be so difficult to to arrange an AOC just to carry freight. Can't you just hire a team to run the operation in total with us supplying the funds to do so?
For example, to get pc12ng's, wouldn't a management team with the experience to run the show be more effective? I know a little bit, but not enough to run the whole show, so would obviously be looking for a team situation.
Maybe private may be the better way to go, however, if I get an aircraft ( as above, or a jet ) do I need to get an AOC for private use? Can I just get some pilots to do the piloting stuff ( as far as I know ), or will I still need a management team as well.

District9,
You seem to be mixing ideas here which makes it hard to give good advice, forgetting all the available options (AOC, private, etc) what is it you actually want to do?
  • Fly my own good from my house to my farm
  • Fly other peoples goods with them paying for the transport
  • Fly passengers for money
  • Fly employees of my company to my site
  • any other variation
That way we can provide a proper answer on your needs.
There are many aviation compliance consultants who can produce the necessary manuals in an efficient manner as described by Lucille. There are also a few who offer very little for the money - ask a lot of questions about what you are getting.

If my memory serves me correctly, CASA, a number of years ago now, produced a generic operations manual for commercial agricultural operations.

BTW District9, please listen to Progressive - he does know his stuff...
