"And would the state border closure not be a reason behind this almost 0 infection rate?"

If the intention is to have zero infections, good luck with that, what are people going to eat when the money runs out? do a Victoria and let the Chinese fund it?

Not saying that the borders shouldn't be opened up but not yet, lift the other restrictions within each state and give it some time to see what actual effect it has on rates within States before just opening it all up and THEN realising it's caused a lot of issues. Remember it's a Marathon, not a sprint.
goods points!

what about as a first step opening borders to visiting friends and relatives traffic.

much less risk staying at a family members home interstate than having thousands of people flocking to tourist hot spots.

would also aid the mental health of those isolated interstate from friends and relatives.
