All these coal fired powerplants. It would be easy to retrofit the boilers with electric heaters. Everything else could stay the same! If interested, contact Walt Investment Group.

Alas, the E Type and the XJ40 are long gone. Under my asset replacement program, the E Type was replaced with a Mazda MX5 and a 10 meter Searay cruiser that packs a pair of 300 HP V8s!

Einstein's? Lord Kelvin would be peeved. Especially as Einstein's theory of general relativity casts some ambiguity about the first law.

Battery powered, electric aircraft will fail, just like man powered aircraft, and for the same reasons. Due to a lack of energy.

Except no one really cares how the 2nd bit is carried out, or if it's carried out at all.

Planting a butt load of trees (in return for a butt load of money) is just a license to double the felling rate 5 km down the road. It frequently finances the felling.
You don't really think that giving money to a Malaysian (or Indonesian or otherwise) logger will actually result in a reduced felling rate, do you?
And you don't think that the government officials tasked with monitoring the end result really give a sh..t about said end result do you?
