Thumbs up Cudlee Creek airborne response

Sincere and heartfelt appreciation for all involved in fighting yesterday's catastrophic fires here in the Adelaide Hills. Watching the aerial effort being launched from Claremont (itself under threat at one stage?) we felt we were maybe in with a chance here in Dawesley and although it came close we were unaffected due to the cool change when it came through and also all the efforts of the CFS and their firebombing teams.

It is undoubtably going to be a long difficult season ahead throughout the country and it is comforting to know that there are people with the skills and courage able to make an effective difference to the outcome for so many.

Thank you Sam and your team.

Respect!

They appear to be busy today too. Looks to be 4-5 out of the 7 (that I know of) of their aircraft are up and about.
