PPL in Ireland/America

Hi,

Would anyone be able to tell me if I am completing a PPL in Ireland, will hours logged in the US be counted towards the 45hours needed to obtain a PPL?
I am currently in the middle of my PPL but will be visiting the US for 1 month and would like to know if I fly over in the US will it count towards my PPL?

Any information at all would be extremely grateful.
Conor
