It’s foreign investment. So what. Just like in agriculture they will pay top dollar to get in, invest so local regional jobs are created, eventually find there is no dollar return despite their repeated attempts at compliance with over regulation, and whhoska...10 to 15 years later they leave the scene. By the way, Thank you for the infrastructure upgrade and local jobs created.

Bit of an overreaction to what Captain Midnight said

Slipry P your right not to bother with Dicks posts. But many others think otherwise.

His name pops up...I;m a reader...dont always totally agree with what he has to say, but he has every right to say it

CAsA is THE major problem ...and CAsA persons trawl these sites for comment ...and to see by whom. !

Dick had a go in CAsA years ago and saw " The Institution" for what it is.
Why would you waste yr time in there if its going nowhere positive for the good of GA.
Skidmore, ceo of late, recently departed thought the same.

Make no mistake, CAsA is a monumental bureaucratic flustercluck..and then some.
The Nation's finest spoilers, time and money wasters.
All in the name of "safety" of course.

Vale !, GA

What is going on? In the old days, such an important article would be featured.

Are people losing interest in PPRuNe? What a pity.
To be honest Dick, I think GA discussion and interest in aviation stories is still alive and well but a lot of people are members of aviation related Facebook groups (ie. Pilots Lounge Australia or Bush Flyers Down Under) these days instead. Not always, but in general, there is a bit more positivity when stories are shared in these groups. I think a lot of it is due to the fact that Facebook isn’t anonymous so people can’t berate eachother under the guise of their anonymous handle.

these "barricades" that is , my posts disappear .).
