Grrr Jetstar New Zealand Regional Hold File

Does anybody currently on the Jetstar NZ Regional hold file or in the know have any info on current training slots allocated for this year?
Not that i've been waiting for an inordinate amount of time but there are some that have. Calling up HR or anybody there results in a "we'll tell you later matey".
Bit frustrating as this is more or less another hoop to jump through not initially advertised or stressed upon.

A course in getting underway in Jan, an estimate for another late March with command upgrades scheduled in for around that time.

January has FO's yes, and to my knowledge only command upgrades in March but one would assume some FO's will be shortly before/after.

Feb would be nice, but days are running out for giving the "6-week" notice.

It is a shame that - communication to pilots in hold pools has never been a strong point of Qantas group. Cant be too far away lads.

FOs I know of have recently been given starts for a course beginning March in Australia.

Hi Terry, How long have you been on the hold file? Some folks got the call for a late March or early April start, though not me yet :/

With AirNZ cranking up hiring I wonder if the Jetstar Hold file is actually as big as this thread makes it out to be. Surely can't be more than 10-20 people sitting on a yes?

Does anyone actually know of someone with a start date for FO on the Dash or is this all just guessing?

When did you receive this information? From my understanding, no interviewing has taken place since late November.

A week and a half ago. Yep that sounds about right. Also not a lot of start dates allocated.

I think one person got a start in January and I know of one who was informed of a start in early April/ late March.

Interesting. Do you happen to know if they were given the proposed 6-week notice?

They got more than 6 weeks notice. I'm not sure if the 6 weeks notice thing is true. Some folks got 4 some got 2 weeks notice... I think the only thing with notice is they will give you at least what you said you require.

I've been on hold since Sep/Oct. How many people are actually waiting on a hold file?
