Lesson from this accident: If taxiing in fog, keep orientated by using the compass combined with the aerodrome chart.

One I remember well, a very experienced and respected Captain, a closed runway with no markers, the runway lights still active,controller could not see progress and no ground radar, all ducks lined up that night.

CL60, Lexington KY USA, 2006 would probably have been saved by a glance at the compass as well.
