Gee certainty of never flying again versus a joint venture with Ausjet/Australasian jet. I know which one I'd choose!

According to the SA Newspaper there was a problem finding a replacement Chief pilot.

Why?

As far as I know Ausjet & Australasian Jet are two separate companies.

Yes and putting "NT or Northern Territory" after them - makes another "separate" company, but when it gets rough you find out Alice Springs is not part of the Northern Territory anymore!

The blokes at Ausjet say that they are the same company, FWIW.

"The Trustee for Ausjet Helicopters" would trade under the name "Ausjet Helicopters PTY LTD".

Whilst all those names are found on the Australian business register, More than half are inactive. Ausjet Northern Territory ceased trading owing a lot of money.

Will they be using the Conquests, or using Ausjets Beech 200?

I believe they will be using Conquests; of which they have 4. However:
- 1 is serviceable
- 1 is in bits/half parted out
- 1 is (or was recently) in deep maintenance; and
- 1 is (or was, until recently) XMJ.

Funny I am sure all were "active" at time of my post - Mine was a ABN search - what was yours?

Horatio, this surprises me. I thought Rossair had heaps more Conquests than that. I had a feeling that they were the largest operator of Conquests in Australia?

outnabout

My numbers based on the VH Register and discussions with the CEO.
I think Sharp now have a significant fleet, as well as Skippers, Corporate, Chartair and Hardy's.

Yes, but they mainly operate in & out of Moomba from memory. Corporate Air is also known as Vee H Aviation Pty Ltd.

Not so much anymore, DF.

Sharps scored all that work about 12-18 months ago.
I believe one of Corporate's Conquests is also out of hours and is shading some grass at Goulburn (but I may be incorrect on that).

Plenty on here will know exactly what I'm talking about Eddie. No need for me to elucidate anything. Just more Mutton dressed up.
