How to recurrent oneself on IFR recency?

I am looking through the regs but can't seem to find the section on what to do if one has exceeded the 90 day window for flying IFR?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

An approach in VMC, or approved synthetic training device or a sim I would say.

Unable to go looking for references yet sorry.

Three approaches in synthetic flight trainer as single pilot ops of one hour duration min.
1 ils 3D
1 Vor or Gnss. 2d cdi
1 Ndb 2d azimuth

Then you are current for all if assuming you have day / night landings currency and valid Ipc.

Thanks for that.

Am I able to do them in VMC instead of a trainer and get the same result?
