Hi wondering if anyone knows of any ENT specialists, particularly in Brisbane, that has a good understanding of aviation related ENT medicine?

But if you are thinking about FESS, don't do it, it is a trap

No not FESS this time around :-) To do with trapped fluid in middle ear and eustachian tube dysfunction. Does he know the CASA stuff on this?

Post sinus operation help

I also need a good ENT after the worst operation in 2011.
The doctor in perth has been de registered due malpractice.
My symptoms are severe due excessive mucusa and turbinate resection.

It seems I can get no help. I have bad headaches and can not tolerate temperature changes ,too hot and too cold.
I am told by neurologist it is in my mind and prescribed anti depressants which make things worse.

I read some ENT in USA are more informed at MAYO clinics etc.
I was told FESS was OK but it seems that I was operated using the older IMA style.
I became unemployed post operation.

My advise to all is do not submitt to any sinus operation without careful consideration.
Life is hell on earth for me now.

Hi Nose,cabin, PM as I can suggest an outstanding ENT. He's not in perth but he's very up with the national situation and could probably recommend someone in perth; alternatively you could come east and see him for another opinion. Hi specialty is sinusitis.
