Reality check.

In the incredibly unlikely event of a ramp check on a private flight, most CASA staff would be impressed if the cargo was tied down at all. If there was a load sheet to go with it, you had your licence and medical and the MR was signed and correct, you would be back underway pronto.

Thanks all for the more recent enlightenment!!

Yeah never been checked in 16 years. Guess it may happen. More wanting to protect my own neck (literally) than comply with every goddam unintelligble reg.

Cheers

Making sure cargo is tied down correctly and in accordance with the AFM is common sense, which I think is sadly lacking in this day and age.

You don't need to know the Regs in this case, just the AFM
