Old enough to remember when light aircraft were not permitted into any capital city airport, only the secondary, HF the only comms for flight service & tower. Still, landed at Tulla in a private aircraft once to drop the wifes mother so she could catch a flight home. Parked in the bay of whichever airline she was catching and she walked into the lounge guided by some employee, no fees either. The good old days when common sense was pretty common.
