Man killed in Benalla glider crash

A man has died following a glider crash in Benalla this afternoon.
The glider crashed in a paddock on Lake Mokoan Road, near the intersection of Chesney Vale Road, about 2pm.
The man had taken off from the Benalla Airfield prior to the crash.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been notified of the incident.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
