Anyone done the GoPro / Bose audio connection?

Trying to figure out how I can get a decent cable / bluetooth connection to record cockpit audio onto the GoPro. Googled plenty but not coming up with the right connectors.

Anyone had any luck with this?

These (or similar) combined worked for me:

Amazon Amazon

Robot Check Robot Check

or, you could get a lapel mic and put it in the ear cup of your headset. You can't connect direct from the bose, the connections are input only, not outputs. AFAIK.

Unfortunately, it is not as simple as just plugging in the cables and hoping everything will work out together.

There is balancing electronically that needs to be done so it all works between go pro and aviation headsets and that is why you need to buy the correct cables like the XCOM one or you will be chasing yourself around and around in circles trying to get a professional job and any reasonable sort of audio output that can be used.

XCOM have sold more than 2000 of the cables over the past six or seven years with nothing but good reports from users.

I don't have a Gopro , or Bose, but my lapel mike in the DC ear cup works perfectly, for many years...

Cheers guys, that's a huge help, more so the advice too! I'll check these out, especially the XCOM but I never thought of the lapel mic idea.

Might give that a shot tomorrow.
