IREX Syllabus
Afternoon all,
After doing my IREX exam i wanted to read up on my KDRs, the problem i'm having is finding where the KDR references are pointing to?
I looked in CAO 40.2.1 and it's not in that part.
Example
Select cruise level, given LSALT, FZL - 61 MOS sect 2.1.1-IREX 4.1.1
Where is that reference? is that to part 61?

Yep, it says it right there... 61 MOS = Part 61 Manual of Standards. Schedule 3 contains aeronautical knowledge standards:

The bit you're after is on page 517:

Interested to know of anyone whose sat the exam under the new syllabus and what it was like?
Were there many questions relating to the new syllabus parts such as RNP, GLS and RVSM procedures and was there much from the new Human Factors for IFR section? cheers

Sat it the other day and only had two questions on Part 61.
One on currency requirements for PVT NGT VFR with passengers and the other on currency requirements for NDB approaches.
One question required the typing of numbers rather than multiple choice but pretty straight forward. No calculations involved.
Didn't notice anything on human factors or RNP, GLS and RVSM procedures.
The only thing that wasn't in Bobs book was the Part 61.

I sat it a few weeks back. Was only a week or so after the new regs were in. Got 4 questions wrong. 3 on part 61. Haven't looked up the kdr's yet but was a little annoyed that they had updated the test so quickly. Everything else takes forever to change.....but not the tests!
The three part 61 questions were the one above on recency, another on recency for command IFR at night. And another I can't remember.
