Yeah the add read like it was written for someone in particular. I guess it was an internal appointment??? Anyway I thought there might be a consequential. Time will tell.

Jam, that pax dream is still a very very long way off
The drivers have to reapply for their own positions, if HR like you, the ad is written for you, if not, well it is inconvenient. Is it a waste of money, well of course it is.
If they are really looking from a general pool for a position that is not 99.99% filled then what ever the CP or his rep likes will be ignored by a committee of Government HR Gurus from a car dealership who will ask you illegal questions about your family life, religion etc. (HR Guru's fail !!)
There are some good folks in there, but they just do their thing and have given up.
This whole process must waste $10,000 plus
But this is the price of contracts........ not full time employment by the QLD Gov.

(Note, this is a policy from previous Govs

Today's Australian Aviation Section - Chief Pilot, Dep Chief Pilot, Fixed Wing Pilot CS and a HAAMC required by Air Wing. Very odd
For Jam and Trash, still Private Ops and still working towards a AOC

Hey megle2
That money seems a little low. At first 110K sounds not bad but its a fair bit short of RFDS and I am assuming you fly multiple types. I suppose its a lot more than they pay in SA!
Anyone know what the rosters are like, assuming there is one, and if there are any significant allowances?
