B200/PC12 Salaries

Hi All,

I was just wondering what the 'going rate' for a B200/PC12 driver was?

Would be interested to see the RFDS/Medivac vs Charter difference as well.

Base rate and allowances or gross earnings will be fine.

Thanks all
CMN

$85-135K for a line pilot!

The maximum I know of for a management pilot is $225K, but this is an exception rather than the rule.

Must be a bit of 'danger money' for the KingAir pilot JR, with twice as many potential engine fires n all.

In all seriousness less than $85k base salary on either and you're ripping yourself off. Howard Hughes is on the money.

All the info you want on this subject you can find on the AFAP website.

Thanks guys! I have already reviewed the award, hence my question to what the 'going rate' was, rather than asking what the award was.

It is good to see that the going rate is well in excess of the award. Some employers must be doing something right

For the sake of comparison, what is the award rate on these aircraft types?

I think the award is around the low $50ks mark on B200.

You can look at the Award; or you can look at the individual EBAs that are accessible on the AFAP website. The EBAs ARE the 'going rate', especially as applied to the various aeromedical providers. I am not aware of any 'award rate' B200 employers in Oz.....but I could be wrong. The only one I don't think is on there is the Darwin NTAMS provider, who tend to keep their rates pretty close to the chest.

I understand their pay is to the higher end of the scale.

Or you could do what Eastair do in Cairns and pay peanuts and cook engines like they did this week ,x2 Blackhawk -52's cooked this makes the total 3 engines in 3 years, so at least they are consistent

There are only two types of people Pilot 58, those who have and those who are going to. I'm afraid I'm in the first group and so are some very distinguished individuals. If it can happen to someone with 28 years and some 12,000 hours on type, it can happen to anyone!

PS: Why register a new moniker just to post that drivel?
