Virgin ATR Syd Base?
Can anyone confirm the latest recruits on the ATR are being offered a Sydney base?
Are they looking for Direct Entry Capts or are existing Capts moving to start the new base?

No direct entry commands in Sydney or any where. Sydney will only be a small base all the Captains that wanted Sydney got it ( Sydney was only offered to keep a select few happy) So they have offered enough FO spots (6 FO and 6 CAPT in total) to make up crew. Canberra is getting next ATR in Jan so this is where the growth is with minor opportunity in Brisbane.

Does anyone know of guys/girls getting interviews with VARA for the ATR without turbine time?
I have well over the required minimums but zero turbine time and was wondering if they regard it highly or not.
