Aircraft down near Tullamarine?

Just witnessed a call from a chap a short time ago saying an aircraft has had a forced landing in a paddock near Tullamarine with smoke trailing behind.... It's going to be interesting to hear if this non-aviation witness did see what he reported. Nothing in the news yet. Hope it's not a bad one based on the other thread :-(

It was probably a crop-duster. Just goes to show what people think they see...

Charlie, Ag aircraft doesn't need an established strip, just a suitable area. There is a company which now and again operates an Ag aircraft from a property a few miles west and another a few miles north of Melbourne. A nice change in routine for Melbourne tower to manage.
