Uni NSW ATPL course. The good, the bad and the ugly
Hey all,
Considering doing my ATPLs with uni NSW for various reasons but can't seem to find much info on it. I've received the usual info from the uni but wanted to know why people who had done the course thought? Seems like a fairly good deal if the teaching is up to scratch.
Cheers

I did Flight Planning, Navigation, AGK and Performance through the Uni - used AFT notes also for AGK (as was my weakest subject so thought the extra material would help) but the courses more than prepared me for the exams. I Self studied the other three - and that is easy enough to do if you are disciplined!
Is Len Sales still teaching or has he retired (as he has been saying for years now!) otherwise Jeremy is also a fantastic ground theory teacher! You can't go wrong!

Course is good but if you fall behind in class its next to impossible to catch up!
the course notes i received are barely readable (photo copied too many times). Other then that great! Len was still teaching but Jeremy was slowly taking over while i was there

Len doesnt teach any more at the UNI, hes finally retired after the sixth time. Jeremy is currently running the course and does a mighty fine job at that! Altho a little on the slow side if you listen to every word he says and do all the exercises you'll pass with no problem!

Definitely a thumbs up from me. Len and Jeremy are both super experienced and very good at what they do. It's a fast course but do all the work they give you and do it exactly the way they tell you and you'll have no trouble. Quite a number of people getting 100s in the CASA exams when I did it.
Self studying the easy subjects is the way to go to save time and money.
