For those who knew big Doug, he passed away in Brisbane on Monday after a long battle with Cancer.
Doug was a ex RAAF 36 SQN C130 Captain, then moved onto Skywest, MBA and finished his flying career at Hevilift in about 2010.
His funeral will be in Brisbane tomorrow.
