Total Aero Experience vs Grand Total Hours

Looking for some advice as to what employers expect when they ask for 'Total Hours'. Is that Total Aeronautical Experience or Grand Total Hours?

Unless you've been logging co-pilot time, there shouldn't be any difference between the two.

In the same vein, I've noticed some job ads ask for IFR time (like the Kak Air ad on AFAP today). I take it they are talking about time logged whilst on an IFR flight plan versus time actually accrued in IMC (ie actual IF time). Who logs IFR time versus IF time anyway?

ooo, rubs hands together waiting for the kiwi boys to wade in, in good 'ol pedantic NZ we're supposed to time passing through the clouds for real IF time.

As another comparison most of Europe don't distinguish between p1 and p1us, there is no separate column for it in their logbooks if I recall correctly. You just write it beside the entry.
