A very elegant flypast (well several actually) for the Anzac Day Parade in Sydney on Saturday. Nice job guys, the sound of the radials was echoing through the city and nodoubt a familiar sound for those that served.

....bout 25 years ago S7700. The uncle was demo'ing a Subaru to one of the senior officers/base commander, I can't remember. He sold the car and I got permission to land at Pucka and pick him up.

Agreed, I fell in lust with one out at Watts a few years ago, interior reminded me of a luxury car of the same era ('30s)

Speaking of interiors, I get a chuckle out of S7700's dash and his lateral thinking whenever I see a photo, take your G1000 and ....

But it can't be safe if it's not TSO'ed surely !!

I chuckle when other people talk about how they accidentally infringed Puckapunyal airspace. Man I've been there on the ground during life fire exercises and I know just how much finds it's way into the skies! At night where 1/5 or 1/10 are tracers and to see how many of those going up is scary to say the least! I steer well clear of the place!

End of an era after 6.5 years. No more seaplanes for Piano Man.

This isn't the 'new' bird (I had to share this photo), however it is a little taste for the future.

Thanks jas24zzk. An upgrade is on the cards but it is not the Global. Just lucky to have a very good friend who is the skipper of one here. All will be revealed in the next month or so via photos, however a move into a 'nice' jet is guaranteed.

Keep posted...

A Boomerang trying hard to make a comeback

geese you must get up before the lark cock,,, or the sunbeams early lathe the Sunshine Coast hinterland. by some weird trick of nature. Out the window here you see the pointy peak of Wollumbin (MT Warning ) .. catch the first rays to hit the mainland . Wollumbin is Koori for cloud catcher.

Another Bill Whitney is the Scamp (110 hp Rotec)
