Ok, so I didn't have it quite wound up as hard as Trent's red helicopter, but it's about as quick as I'm ever going to go sitting in a piston twin.

PM, any chance of a colour photo so the Beaver doesn't look so "wrinkled" down the fuselage? Just curious to compare what the 2 different "exposures" look like. My guess is the non classic photo will iron out the wrinkles of the exquisite Clutch Cargo machine.

Had a bad thundery at GLA last month. Here are a few photos of a 182 that had a lightning strike on the ground. Notice the prop tips and the welding on the the rim. It popped bits out of the tarmac around the a/c. It'll be a strip and radio repair/replace at least.

If only we could harness the power

Meanwhile, what Piano Man is really thinking...

Did I pump out the floats?
Will the mooring hold?
Is that the wind starting to come up?
Where are those bloody passengers?
Will I beat the tide?

I love floats, I really do!
