That glider must be for students coz it's got training wheels. Nice photo.
Please, more piccys (piccies?) from Piano Man. My brother was a floaty so they are immensely appreciated and all that I have seen are excellent quality.

Dawned on me that a sad anniversary had just passed, VH-UXG near Imbil on 1/10/'12.
Trawling the internet a while ago looking for some information on my uncle (Blake Whitehair) who used to live in Tibooburra & had his own aircraft. Found this:

http://www.outbackpatrol.com.au/Pilots_p7-8.pdf

There is a photo there of Des Porter & UXG.

Piano Man that a gorgeous shot mate, that water is scary glass for operating at the Reef! Probably more so for the ensuring departure but I'm sure you've got that sorted...so why are these your last shots in the Beaver and Caravan?
BTW just wondering why you don't have blade latches for that Van? They're not essential however so I'm not trying to be a busy body or anything,

Nice shots VH-XXX, that'll be Venezia Lido (San Nicolo) followed by LGKR Corfu!
Operated out of both of these airports and I love them both as much as their surrounding waters! Gorgeous stuff!

Took the 210 up north recently and dropped in at Hamo' Island. Piano Man isn't the only one here who gets to cavort up and down Whitehaven beach.

Shabby looking Caravan spotted arriving in the distance....

Shabby looking Caravan on the beach blocking the view....

Doesn't look to bad after I gave it a quick chamois....

Even more specutacular than the shabby looking Caravan, was the bird life on the beach....

....bew'iful ploomidge.

Loaded up with the pax and beach babes, taxiing for departure....

Ramping up the power....

Up on the step....

Fukc the caravan....

....yer babe.

How does he handle all the snorkel gear by himself? Surely he needs a hand?

I'd like to offer my services.

Was there some reason the carriers name was scrubbed?

I am sure Leadie and many others will remember doing them in B744/3/2 ay YMAV many years ago. Scorching around the circuits at ....fun factor 1.0

Best he does not tell stories....might get the bunny huggers all upset.

A C17 came over our NDB about 20 minutes ago, doing a practice, no doubt. Grabbed a small camera and took a shot as they passed the nearly-full moon on the return, climbing out on the miss. Unfortunately it didn't come out too well, so won't attempt to post.
Looks like a nice night for flying....lucky beggars..

They sure must have some corrosion issues down the back of those Caravans! Must have some good preventative products on hand.

I also have to say it is nice to see someone else taking pictures of WTY. Just for fun, does anyone want to take a guess at the price of the the Wipline Amphib floats on her? And no cheating!
