CAC Sabre:
Memories! What great photos!
About that shot of the MMA F.27 taxying in (you can almost hear it screaming, can't you?) - the Friendship is either VH-MMR or -MMS (I believe the only two F.27's to wear the orange/chocolate scheme and MMA titles), the DC-3 in the background is VH-ABR while the two Beech 65's are VH-CFI (nearest the camera) with VH-CFD behind.
The only one I never got to fly was VH-ABR....

Terrific pix 'cac' thnxs
That RAF Comet 4( I think) is a great shot
All those 'T' jets looks like at EN obviously pre 1970 as I think Tulla opened to dom traffic in 1971, anyone?
As a kid I was a couple of miles from EN other side of the valley, I didn't have a chance back then, wish I had had camera.

Wally:
I think you're right about the domestics shifting to Melbourne (Tullamarine) in 1971. My log book shows a flight out of EN on 18th June, followed by a flight out of ML on the 20th.
Love that EN tarmac shot - it certainly was a very busy & crowded apron.

Lovely phots C_S, with the best being the first one you posted Nice that you captured the best of the RN's squadrons (although there is one forum member who may disagree). 1988 I think.
Another batch
RAN Skyhawks Pearce circa 1973
Pearce again same era, Apollo missions support aircraft "ARIA"
Neptune fantastic low level flight to Bussleton (with RAF exchange pilot) and return featuring flight over Rotto, dropping a parcel from sonobuoy chute to copilots family farm, all engines and jets flat out drag up the coast, low level initial (below the tacan dome) and pitch into a crowded macchi circuit..(he was matted by wing commander flying)
more for pontius
Tarawa Fremantle
This 727 was about 2 colour schemes "behind" at Perth, the rest of the fleet already in Australian Airlines livery
"Fruitloops" used on Qantas services out of Perth
not my pic at Perth old MSA comet
Perth again I forget where Lloyd F-28s went
Delta Dugout low level instructor navex and farmer's outhouse dive bombing exercise
A65-102
..modelled her 35 years later
more later if you want
