A Boomerang trying hard to make a comeback

geese you must get up before the lark cock,,, or the sunbeams early lathe the Sunshine Coast hinterland. by some weird trick of nature. Out the window here you see the pointy peak of Wollumbin (MT Warning ) .. catch the first rays to hit the mainland . Wollumbin is Koori for cloud catcher.

Another Bill Whitney is the Scamp (110 hp Rotec)

I'd be thinking perhaps somewhere in Spain? The roundel is Spanish Air Force.

Definitely not UK. The roundabout sign is in the wrong direction.

Aileron doesn't look correct for a Sabre. Buggered if I know what it is though.

I take it back. A little Googleing has taught me that there was an 'Extended Wing' version of the F-86 where the ailerons don't extend all the way to the wingtip.

Couldn't tell you where that one is though.

Super Cecil... It can't be the Fiat, as it lacks wing fences.

Everything I can find says F-86F with the 6-3 wing

Cheers

A nice little strip, close to town in Gippsland. A little surprised it's still there with people often complaining about strips near their properties. They must have an aviation friendly council.

Nice picture. The council cannot stop someone having a private strip on private property, either can the neighbours.
A public aerodrome would be a different matter.

Uncle8 I wish you were right, but sadly you aren't, at least in this end of the woods...
