I don't think De Havilland knew how to design an ugly plane.

I'm with KingRB and Desert Flower. That looks like the sort of scenery that you get to see when you fly from William Creek to Prominent Hill in S.A.

(Of course, pilotette may be able to supply the actual lat/longs? )

We are all just so fortunate to be able to view our beautiful country from above. There's no roads into the Painted Hills.

Where am I JERR

King RB, DF, and Gerry111

You are correct

Painted Hills, out of William Creek, a nice add on to a Lake Eyre Scenic Flight.

Really interesting country.

DF - we often drop into Leigh Creek to refuel and stretch our legs on our way home.

Safe Flying

Finke

Thanks for that

It was about 4 years when I did that flight. I remember being impressed how big the runway was.

Have to wait until August for the next outback flyaway.

The homestead buildings of Finke.

Safe Flying

Wish I was still out there sometimes - although not during summer!

Hello DF

Yes its hot, darned HOT.

Junior JERR went back early to William Creek as the rains have attracted more tourists, he cannot believe how hot it is.

He is happy to be flying again after the summer break.

Cheers

JERR
