AWAC

I believe I saw an AWAC to the south of Melbourne this morning but might be mistaken.

Do we have many of those? I've seen one at Avalon last year I think it was or the show before.

If it wasn't, do they get down here much?

Wedgetail

Saw one doing circuits at Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and I know they are expanding the facilities at Tindal to house a wedgie and tanker.
May have a bit more of the RAAFs heavy metal filling the skies hereabouts some time soon.

Pharcanell, Yes I think you can count on see a bit more RAAF heavy metal around. Now that the acquisition of a sixth C17 has been made official and the unsolicited offer from Airbus for a sixth tanker is being thought about chances are good that some different machinces will be over your way in the coming years.
