Thanks Pprune and Goodbye
Well after 13 years of using Pprune this is my final post. Thanks Pprune, you have seen me right through my initial training, instructing, first airline job and first jet command. Your advice has been invaluable at times, but it is time to say goodbye. Goodluck for the website and all those that use her :-)

You outgrown us mate? I can tell you after years in Aviation, it never stops evolving, you can go on Qroom, you can go on AVherald, you can go on PPrune, you can listen to the TSV refueler, hear all the goss from the CC, and then you put the lot together and you might be close to the truth. Sometimes. Good luck mate.

I'd never heard of Team America until I read about it on Pprune yesterday. I tuned in and said, "what's this c-rap," changed channel, checked again shorty after to see the PC12 look-alike fly past in it's red, white and blue liverly, only to realise that I was indeed on the right show.

As a joiner when it was a broadsheet once a day site, in spit of the tag on my name, (computer and domicile glitches) I have been here a long time as well.
All intelligent posts are most helpful to the wider Aviation World, just that some of the crud that at times is around is a distraction from the good stuff.
Like most old F&rts, plan on hanging around.
Keep up the task Tailwheel and others of your kind.

AH hasn't done too badly though hey? Registered in '99 during 'initial training' according to him and an A320 captain less than 13 years later? I was in Qantas for 13 years before I got my command. It's likely to be a lot longer than that for those following me.
Isn't there some snazzy modern slang term for those with the hubris to make a new thread about how they won't be able to read that thread because they are leaving? Like anyone cares?
