Daedalus Aviation - Archerfield
Just saw the job advert on AFAP.
Can anybody shed some light on this operator??
IE, Chief Pilot, how long they have been around etc?

Actually in Greek Mythology, Daedelus was Icarus' father. He built the wings and taught his son to fly. Icarus did not heed his fathers warnings about flying too close to the sun or the ocean. Not a bad name for a school. Perhaps a slightly deeper meaning than melting feathers?

You are exactly right
Many students have suffered by the hands of PB and his direction. Hear we start over again! It is understood that Daedalus Aviation CFI is ex Hempells.
How come Archerfield allows him back onto the airfield?

Let me once again start by saying we have no association with PB, can the people stating this please provide some proof.
Daedalus Aviation is owned by a Husband and Wife team, if those people posting defamatory information did know how to research a company ownership will find out who the true owners are.

Here we go again...
How sure are you that it is PB? I was thought that it may be when I saw the add... I can not believe after what happened he is even allowed to run a business. He owes a lot of money to past staff and students. All those students who had to "pay up front" for entire courses. What a joke. Proof of why you only pay in advance what you are willing to loose. 
Daedalus Aviation, sorry to have mistakenly associated you with PB, as far as i'm aware he used to own a company which was called Daedalus and which from what I recall was an Aircraft Leasing company and he doesn't have a spectacular reputation as i'm sure you know!!

This is just what happens on this site. Little jerks jumping into the deep end with all the rumors.
Give this company a chance. I have applied for the line pilots jobs and I would be more than happy to work there.

I object to the little jerks title appointed to me by layingback... I'm sure you can understand how quite a few people might draw a link between PBs old Company of the same name and this one and I do believe it was a question as to whether they were linked or not and not just a straight jumping to conclusions, from myself at least.
Daedalus Aviation, commendably, have come on here, set the record straight and i'm sure a few of us will be happy to retract any statements about THEIR company...not about PB though!!
Perhaps you should not jump to conclusions about what other people have concluded? Oh and need I point out what the "RuNe" in PPRuNe stands for?

Layingback, this wasn't the first place I had heard that he was behind it in some capacity. So don't blame ixixly.... Or anyone for saying it on here.

I agree. Give them a go. I also have applied and would be happy to work there as well. Good call windshear, nothing wrong with some healthy competition. All the best to the husband and wife team.

We would like to thank all the people for their positve comments, we hope the word does get out there that no associtaions exists with anyone else.
We want to provide a family friendly enviroment were pilots/hangar rats can pop in and just have a yarn and not have to open their wallets to do so.
